Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited- Video
Hi everyone. Aidan here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Compact Cargo Carrier on the back of our 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited. Now, this is going to be a great way to carry some extra stuff with you when you're going on your trips, especially if you've got that third row of seats up, cargo space in the back is quite limited, and with this being a smaller carrier, it is still gonna be quite capable. It's got a 500 pound weight capacity and steel construction, so plenty strong. And the biggest thing to watch out for is the dimensions. Side to side, it's still gonna be a fairly wide carrier, coming in at 51 and a half inches of usable space. more

Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited. Now the cargo carrier is gonna be a great way to carry extra stuff with you, especially in our Traverse, if you've got that third row seats up, cargo space is limited. So if you're going on a trip with some people, you gotta put the stuff somewhere. And for me, the hitch is one of the best places you can put it because you've got a good weight capacity and a good amount of space. To be more specific with that space, our usable dimensions, front to back, are 20 1/2 inches, and from side to side, we're working with 47 1/2 inches. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the REESE hitch mounted cargo carrier, and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited. Now, a cargo carrier is a great way to get some extra stuff with you on either a road trip, or just carry some messy stuff with you that you don't wanna put in your vehicle, say, trips to the hardware store, bags of mulch, concrete, soil, things that tend to rip and make a mess, you can keep it out here. I know my father-in-law personally uses his a lot for stuff like that, because it's a lot easier to clean this off with the hose than it is to vacuum out the carpet in your vehicle. But this option from REESE is going to be a pretty good entry-level choice, because there's not a whole lot to it, but it does offer you a good amount of space. more

This is going to be the medium sized carrier at 22 by 47 inches large, and we're gonna be taking a look at how it fits on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The main things about this carrier is if you're just looking for something to expand your cargo space, maybe you're going hunting and you want to put this in here rather than in your truck bed, then this is gonna be a great option because then you're not lifting as high up. Plus, this makes it easier to store when not in use. A cool thing too with our 3500 is that we are able to lower our tailgate while still carrying our cargo carrier. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Reese cargo carrier basket, which is 24 by 60 inches large, and we'll see how it fits on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. So major things about the Reese Cargo carrier with this truck is that if you have a two and a half inch hitch like what we have here, you are gonna need a separate hitch reducer in order to fit the two inch shank of our cargo carrier. And if you're looking for a cargo carrier where you can still lower your tailgates and have a platform that is easier to reach compared to your truck bed, then this might be a good option for you. So maybe you're going hunting, you need to load stuff onto the basket. We're gonna have a difference in height as well as clearance. more

CURT Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the CURT steel folding cargo carrier, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So a lot of people like the folding cargo carrier because since this carrier is made of steel people don't wanna take it off and on of their vehicle more often than they have to. So because it folds up, they can keep it on their car and they don't take up much space as if it was folded down. Now the downsides to this though is if you can see how it fits here on our Equinox, you can see that it takes up a good amount of width, but definitely the height. So if I wanted to open up our hatch here, I would not be able to. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be talking about how the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier with a 60-inch long ramp fits on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So this cargo carrier is pretty unique because it is made of aluminum, so it is lightweight, but it still has a really long ramp. With how it works with the Equinox, some things to keep in mind is I like how low to the ground it sits making it easier for the incline to ramp things up into their carrier. The downside is you are gonna have to have a two-inch hitch receiver and make sure you have enough tongue weight for those heavier items. Also, you are gonna lose access to your hatch once something is loaded up onto that ramp. So with all that being known or being said, if you still think this is gonna be a good fit for you let's take a look at how it works. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're gonna take a look at how the Flint Hill Goods 60 by 22 Aluminum Cargo Carrier fits on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So an aluminum cargo carrier is awesome if you need a little extra space, but you don't wanna put your cargo inside of your vehicle, you want it more accessible, and you want the cargo carrier to be lightweight to make it easier to install. That's where this one comes in handy. It's 60 by 22, meaning you have a lot of width, an okay amount of length for the carrier, and it is lightweight and corrosion resistant, you can leave it on your car and not have to worry about it. We're gonna focus on how it fits here on our Equinox. And the main thing for me with cargo carriers is how easy is it to install, how much space do I have for cargo, can I open up the hatch on our Equinox So in our case here, this sits straight out, and if you wanna open up your hatch, look at how much space it takes to lift that door up. more

This is going to be an inch and a quarter cargo carrier that's going to allow us to free up some space in our trunk or in the back seat so we can have more room for other belongings. It's also great for carrying stuff that's dirty or too large to fit in the trunk.Now, when it comes to these cargo carriers, capacity is usually the biggest question and this one has a really good capacity at 300 pounds. Now, that's not the highest capacity cargo carrier we offer, but it is really good for an inch and a quarter. more

Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer Aluminum Cargo Carrier on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. So, when we designed this, we wanted to solve a couple of problems for you guys. A lot of you guys are taking the cargo carrier out and putting it back into the hitch quite often, so that's why we ended up making it out of aluminum, to make it nice and light.It's about 16 pounds, really, really light, and it's going to be really easy to store, just because it's a little bit smaller than your traditional cargo carriers. We're going to have about 60 inches long by about 22 inches wide. The rails only sit up about seven inches, so this going to be great for putting all of your luggage and stuff like that in there, just to free up some of the room in the inside of the Tahoe.When you are going on a trip and you have a bunch of people in there, you want to make sure that they're nice and comfortable. more

So when designing this, we really wanted to hit all the points that you guys are really wanting. And I think we did a pretty good job of it.One, obviously it looks pretty good. It has got a powder coated finish, steel construction. So it is going to resist against rust and corrosion. more

Let's get started.Well, first things first, what really sets this apart from all the other products out there, is that it folds up pretty much smaller than my suitcase that I take to the airport with me. So, it's going to be great for you guys who just have a smaller apartment or just not really a lot of space in your garage to be able to store this. It'll fold up really nicely, like this. So, it's going to be easy to store and you can honestly hold it like a suitcase, which is nice.One thing that I really like about cargo carriers, is just to be able to open up the inside of the vehicle, so we can get a lot more stuff on the outside to make everybody a little bit more comfortable.I remember when I was going on a long trip with my family, we had our whole entire family in there and all of our stuff was just piled in with us and it was not too comfortable, and it wasn't really the most quiet ride. more

So if you guys are looking just to free up some space on the inside of the Tahoe, and get some of that luggage back on a carrier in the back, this is just going to make everybody on the inside a lot more comfortable. Especially with me, I definitely like to have as much space as I can, especially as the trip gets longer and longer. So this is going to be able to fit quite a bit of stuff. This is going to be a pretty basic cargo carrier. It's not going to have the tilting away feature or the folding up feature, but it is going to have about 60 by 24 inches of space. So it's going to be great for just being able to open up a lot of room on the inside of the Tahoe, just because if you guys go on long trips, the more space, the better, especially when you have kiddos to put all their stuff back here. more

etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Adam: What's going on everybody. Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer Aluminum Cargo Carrier on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this Cargo Carrier is going to be about 60" long X 22" wide and these rails are going to sit up about 6" from our floor here but what really is going to set this Cargo Carrier apart from some of the others you guys may be looking at is the fact that it is almost all aluminum and it's actually only 18 pounds. So if you guys are one that's probably going to put this thing in and out of your hitch quite often, this is definitely going to be a great way to just relieve a lot of that stress on your knees and your back from lifting and everything like that. Very light but it still gets that 500 pounds of weight capacity that everybody's wanting. more

Right now we have the etrailer.com tilting cargo carrier loaded up. This is a really great accessory for your Equinox. It's going to allow you to get any excess cargo, luggage, any dirty or muddy gear, instead of putting it on the floorboards, you get it on the carrier, strap it down, you're going to be good to go. It'll create more space on the inside if you're just loading up cargo and luggage, and if you want to keep the inside of your Equinox clean with all that muddy gear, it'll do a great job of that as well.Now what's really nice about this cargo carrier is that it's got a lot of space on the inside. more

This is going to be a steel construction cargo carrier that measures 22 inches wide by 59 inches long on the inside of your cargo carrier. So that's going to be the amount of usable space that you have.The first thing that I noticed was how sturdy these floors are. A lot of the times you get a thinner material in the floors of your cargo carriers and sometimes they flex with heat or with weight. This one, I'm very confident in saying that it won't be doing that. more

Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Traverse we're doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero 48 by 24 Big Boss Cargo Carrier. That part number is H01465. Now this has a 300 pound weight capacity. We're going to start off with a couple measurements here. Ground clearance is going to be first. From the ground to the bottom of our carrier we're going to have about 14-1/4". Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Traverse C18110- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20x48 cargo carrier, part number C18110. Now this is designed to work with both 1 1/4" and 2" hitches and has a 300 pound weight capacity. It's going to be one of our lighter weight carriers, so it's easy to insert and take out of your hitch. We're going to start off with our ground clearance. We're going to have about 19 3/4". Overall to our vehicle, we're adding about 25", and our closest point's going to be about 5". Now on our Traverse, we do have an exhaust that's going to be on our passenger side. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be test fitting the 24 x 60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" hitches, Part Number C18152. This has a carrying capacity of 500 pounds, it has this nice mesh floor here, which makes it easy to clean. We also have this railing all the way around the cargo carrier and that can serve as a tie down point for either you ratchet straps or your bungee cords. This is excellent for keeping sporting goods equipment, things that are wet, camping gear, anything outside of your vehicle to make more space for your family inside. It has a raised shank here, so for vehicles with a little bit lower clearance hitches, there's not going to be an issue between the space of your cargo carrier and the ground. I'm going to go ahead and give you a couple quick measurements now. Measuring from the edge of the bumper to our outer edge here, we've added about 31" to the rear of the vehicle. more
